The Legions of the Damned.

The Legions newly found source of power, afforded by the mystic well, saw their rage and hatred of all that live grow exponentially. Someone had betrayed Bethrezen but he would not be denied his freedom, his will, again. Soon he would walk the land again and retribution would come.

Forth would be sent the minions of his hatred, the creatures that were issued of his curse upon the lands of his creation.

Subjected through eons of pain and torment, rage and hatred fill the veins of these creatures and those living creatures possessed by the power of Bethrezen go berserk on the battlefield. As the possessed grow in power and hatred, the demonic essence completely overtakes their soul, granting them great force and shielding them from pain.

Legion minions strive on fire mana, leaving their enemies in ashes in an instant. The fire essence being the origin of their lifeblood, these creatures grow great resistance to fire as they gain power over time. Gargoyles, like golems, animated stone creatures nearly impervious to blades and swords, wreak havoc among the enemy lines, hurling stony projectiles from a distance. Ultimately, those creatures of Bethrezen, visions from hell, the devils themselves, appear from the depth of the land, striking fear and scorching all that live and all that would oppose Bethrezen’s will.
